To me Final Fantasy 7 has the best story out of all the FF. But maybe thats cause i started with 7 and moved down. TBH i enjoy all of the old FF. 3 to 6 i played on Emulators. I think Final Fantasy 6 is the best out of those.. i really liked Kefka.

FF6 to this day puts most RPGs to shame besides graphics. Kefka was badass poisoning all those poor mofos lol. I really liked the range of different character's abilities, and of course the soundtrack was as good as it gets in any video game imo. FF4 and 6 both had an amazing outside/overworld tune I'll probably remember when I'm 70.

FF7 is easily my favorite. I've played 2/4/5/6/7/8/9/10/12/13 (played, not finished) and 7 strikes the balance of great gameplay, materia being my favorite magic system out of any rpg, and story.

Now that I've beaten Dark Souls 2, I'm going to go back and check out some of the magic elements in the game which I completely ignored first time around, and then... not sure. I either will platinum South Park, or finally buy Bravely Default, or maybe level up a character to about 70ish geared towards PvP on Dark Souls 2 and do bell tower after bell tower.

Will see.

So far this path has been really easy. I thought i was going to need to use the torch against those long arm spider looking guys but iv been running through them pretty easily.

I had trouble in the main building they stay in, the one that houses the merchant who buys your gear for souls. The torch came in handy there. The worst part about that area is the walk back to the boss if you die, it's quite annoying, at least it was for me.
