Downloaded Hearthstone. Don't know why I didn't bother before, it's a lot of fun... and it's basically Magic The Gathering with a few rule changes.

Lets not get crazy here.

I enjoy Hearthstone form time to time, but it is very very VERY RNG based. MTG requires much more knowledge and strategy.

If MTG players stopped preparing their decks before each match it would be much more random as well.

It's definitely a lot closer to the MTG video games than the actual MTG game though.

You can prepare a deck in Hearthstone.

I am more talking about how many gimmicky cards are in Hearthstone and how you can literally just win right off the bat so many times.

The Wolf Among Us episode 3 came out today, great stuff. Best episode by far, very intense and a lot going on.

Going to play more Garden Warfare later.

I am thinking I have way too many games on my Steam list that I have gotten from sales that I haven't put any time into yet. Think I am just going to pick one every week and play it. But first, to satisfy my first craving. My yearly playthrough of Zelda: A Link to the Past! Time to go and find those SNES cords...

The more i play hearthstone the more i like it. It is a really fun game and having not played mtg i dont have the ability to compare. i think it os really solid game on its own. By far arena is the most fun. Gets so intense and the random decks you get to build for it really makes you use careful strategy.

I will say there are a few cards that imo might be a bit op. When rag or nat pagle pop out early it can feel pretty impossible to recover.

What classes you guys play? I play a hunter deck as my main.

The game is fun no doubt but it is very RNG as in it requires a lot of luck. Like moreso than other games. Personally the amount of removals and board clears in the game are what turn me off at times.

When I do play, I normally play a Rogue deck.

Yes. More than other card games simply because of how many cards can just flat out kill anything regardless of monster power. So much control and board clears that you can seriously win a game with your opponent not being able to do anything or keep a card on the board.
