Honestly, it's probably the most overhyped game I've ever seen. Seriously, the gameplay is average at best and I mean at best. The stealth is broken half the time (which is the reason I quit), the AI was horrible, the actual gameplay is typical third person stuff, absolutely nothing unique or special about it. The story was alright up to where I got (turning on the generator in a dark basement like 4-5 hours in or something like that), but was nothing special either up to that point.
I honestly have no idea what people see in the game. All I hear is how amazing the story is, why is it so amazing? Compared to what, exactly? More over, this is an third person action adventure game, the gameplay has to be good to support it, and it's not. This isn't like TWD where it's all story so if the story is bad the game is bad, or if the story is good the game is good. So even if the story got better if I continued, it would still have average gameplay with a bad stealth system and bad AI.
Anywho, just ranting at this point.
