As for MC (whom I'm now SURE gets commission for every PC game sold), everything you mentioned with wireless etc. is the exact same for PS3? You can say your games run better...mine run fine. There is no stuttering, the graphics really depend on the game itself and isn't something I really care about. So what's the difference? I think you're LOOKING to dislike a console game. When I start up Black Ops, for like 4 seconds I can't click "Playstation Network" and need to let it load. If this was you, you'd already have your console turned off by then.
I don't have a SINGLE problem with my PS3's loading, "framerate", graphics...and I prefer the controller based gaming (plus, I only really play games socially which REALLY isn't how PC gamers like to play).
Do you even read my posts? That's a serious question by the way, because I stated specifically in more than one post that I like consoles just as much as PC and at the moment enjoying my Wii U and 3DS more than PC or anything else. Seriously, it's annoying when people respond to me who don't even read my posts in the first place.
If you don't mind sub-part technology/less features, I honestly couldn't care less as even I do, there's nothing wrong with having fun with your PS3 or Wii U or whatever. You realize of course that I own every current gen/some last gen consoles? I own a PS3/Wii U/Xbox One/3DS/Vita/PS4, and yes a gaming PC. I have no bias for any of them (except the 3DS, that's my favorite), I'm just pointing out reality - PC gaming is far above all other platforms in terms of performance/features. There's no escaping it, whether you find it more fun to console game or not.
As for playing socially, are you talking about online/group play, or couch co-op? If you're talking about online/groups/clubs/competitive gaming etc, then PC is the #1 source for all of that. Pretty much every major online/group type of game is dominant on the PC from speed runs, to moba games, to FPS games and everything in between, games like DayZ/minecraft/LoL soar on the PC (and LoL being probably the #1 largest community game in the world right now). Couch co-op is easier on console, but again it can be done on the PC quite easily with a single cable.
