EA Sports is like COD though. They make small improvements every year, which in the long run makes a gigantic difference. If they took 2 years between each game, people wouldn't complain about it being so similar, but they'd probably complain about the waiting time. I kind of prefer getting a new game inbetween the two like both companies currently do.

EA UFC looks like I might think it's okay, but it's absolutely not a technical looking game. I love Undisputed 3 for that reason. I can go out and have a slug fest, or I can go out and have a plan.

The UFC series isn't supposed to be yearly, I think they said every 18 months, but I would venture after a year, if that this game will be completely dead. It's just not any fun, the roster is too small, and everyone fights the same. It was a huge dud and 2K really should have jumped on this, the only sports franchise they have is NBA and they absolutely broke it off in EA's ass and killed the Live franchise.

Hell, the old NFL 2K games were amazing too, 2K5 is still one of the best sports games of all time.

I was just replying to "Don't see the appeal of EA games, they just remake the same game".

Although to be fair, I have NO defence for Fight Night Champion. I believe even it's loading screens are the same.

But regarding the roster, I just don't get why they do what they do. If I was making a UFC game right now, EVERY fighter currently under contract with UFC would be included in the game. In addition to that, I'd add in every legend I could possibly think of. Blind people with the amount of fighters you have in the game. Then, as well as this, present the game EXACTLY as it's presented on TV. Kenflo and Jon Anik on commentary for "Fight Night" cards etc.

And I don't get why the Fight Night team didn't take what made Fight Night Champion special: Story mode. They really pushed the boat out with theirs and even though I don't enjoy playing it, I can defo appreciate it. They should have had a storymode included in this game, and even for a segment where your fighter is rising the ranks, they could have you being talked about on MMA Live, Inside MMA etc. Backstage interviews with Ariel Helwani etc. Just give us the complete experience.

I just wish I had access to the team. From what I get, the fighting is reasonably good. That's the hard part. Once that's done, any Joe Soap can make the game amazing.

They don't have to include the ENTIRE roster but they could have added in more than just 11-12 guys for each division. I never played Fight Night Champion because it just didn't look appealing but FNR4 was the shit, loved that game so that's why I had some hope that EA would make a good UFC game because Fight Night is exceptional but they blew it.

On a different note, they showed the new Dying Light gamescom trailer, it looks badass I can't wait for that one.

2015 is gonna be the shit though if you have a PS4, The Division, Evolve, The Order, Arkham Knight, Dying Light and Uncharted 4. I can't wait man, gonna have to put in a lot of overtime for my gaming needs. I haven't played mine much as of late because I was pretty disappointed with The Last of Us and UFC but next year should make up for it.
Watch Dogs was disappointing imo. It is GTA with some hacking. Not bad, but I was expecting a lot more out of it.

That's the problem with any open world game, you go out, you do a mission in the campaign and then you have the rest of that world to free roam around in and do whatever, Watch Dogs, Sleeping Dogs(a lot of dogs here) are all gonna be like GTA because that's what GTA is and it was around first. I enjoyed the fact you could hack into other people's games and control the city, being able to blow shit up and raise the bridges and bumpers was a lot of fun.

I bought it and honestly I have 3-4 hours into it at the most. I'm so bored of these open world city games, that includes GTA. Sleeping Dogs I liked because of the unique setting (it's a city but but not a western New York kind of city), the much better story than most other open world city games, and mostly the gameplay. The gameplay was 90% melee, martial arts, and that was a lot more fun than hiding behind cover in third person shooting enemies whose heads pop out, so tired of that stuff.

So I went ahead and tried Divinity: Original Sin solo because the co-op was just awful, and it's a lot better. You can actually follow the story and the gameplay isn't yawn inducing because you're not sitting around waiting for two characters that you have no control over to get their turn done. I'm enjoying it a lot more now.

I bought Metro: 2033 Redux. I have the original game on PC but the series is so fun that I want top lay the remastered version. It's basically Metro 2033 with better lighting/textures/animations/better optimized/etc. I highly recommend Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light, awesome series and as a person who is sick and tired of modern FPS games, I can say that these two are exceptions.

Also, I watched some CoD: Advanced Warfare multiplayer footage that was released today, honestly... it looks pretty fun. What the CoD franchise needed was to get away from the boring modern military nonsense into something different, and they are doing that. It's nothing new, jet boosts/invisibility/dashing, it looks like a slightly faster version of Titanfall but with no mechs. We have seen all this in many other FPS games, but at least they are mixing it up and trying to bring new life into the series. Good on them.

I bought Ultra Street Fighter IV and a fightstick. I've always wanted to get into fighting games so I figured I'd take a risk and set myself up with a stick. I enjoy arcade style controls but I can't stand fighting games with console controllers, so I had to buy a stick. Looking forward to playing.

"They put a Nazi on the Moon? **** You, Moon!" LOL! Just when you think this game was taking itself way too seriously, the protagnist says things like this. The giant robots and robo Nazi dogs also adds to the riduculous nature of the game as well. Aside from that this game can get downright dark. That cutscene when your entering the labor camp was actually a scary scene. Won't go into detail but Frau Engel is a complete bitch.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam
