I bought it and honestly I have 3-4 hours into it at the most. I'm so bored of these open world city games, that includes GTA. Sleeping Dogs I liked because of the unique setting (it's a city but but not a western New York kind of city), the much better story than most other open world city games, and mostly the gameplay. The gameplay was 90% melee, martial arts, and that was a lot more fun than hiding behind cover in third person shooting enemies whose heads pop out, so tired of that stuff.
So I went ahead and tried Divinity: Original Sin solo because the co-op was just awful, and it's a lot better. You can actually follow the story and the gameplay isn't yawn inducing because you're not sitting around waiting for two characters that you have no control over to get their turn done. I'm enjoying it a lot more now.
I bought Metro: 2033 Redux. I have the original game on PC but the series is so fun that I want top lay the remastered version. It's basically Metro 2033 with better lighting/textures/animations/better optimized/etc. I highly recommend Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light, awesome series and as a person who is sick and tired of modern FPS games, I can say that these two are exceptions.
Also, I watched some CoD: Advanced Warfare multiplayer footage that was released today, honestly... it looks pretty fun. What the CoD franchise needed was to get away from the boring modern military nonsense into something different, and they are doing that. It's nothing new, jet boosts/invisibility/dashing, it looks like a slightly faster version of Titanfall but with no mechs. We have seen all this in many other FPS games, but at least they are mixing it up and trying to bring new life into the series. Good on them.
