WEC World Extreme Cagefighting is an American mixed martial arts promotion. It is the sister promotion to the UFC, both owned and produced by ZUFFA, with a focus on lighter weight classes and talent building for the UFC. As with its older and much larger sibling, the WEC uses the same rules as the UFC, but it holds its fights in a smaller octagonal cage.

I really like this fact. Trigg is a great wrestler with OK stand-up and he should give a real good test for Filho. I don't see any way Filho loses this fight though.

i donno triggs pretty good dude, he could be a threat to filho, this is a guy who has fought for ufc, and pride titles in his career. and he really isnt to bad on the ground.

The only reason anyone ever though Trigg was an OK announcer is because he often announced alongside Jay Glazer. Let's face it. A severely drunk hobo with turrets would look good as an announcer in comparison to Jay Glazer.
As a fighter I still think Trigg is solid. He's looked good as of late. He tooled Misaki for basically the entire match and that's no easy feat. He got KTFO by Ruthless Robbie, but that can happen to anyone.
I'm getting a vibe on this match. If vBookie odds are right, I'll probably be taking Twinkle Toes.

a) Twinkle Toes is a great nickname.
b) Trigg actually has a shot in this fight. If he can keep it standing, I think he can beat Filho on the feet. Should be an interesting test if nothing else.

I'm with baron on this one. Trigg has a decent shot a Filho. With his wrestling background he should be able to keep it standing and there's no question who's got the better hands. Even though Filho has knockout power, his obvious lack of standup skill will be easily picked apart.

nah I think Trigg has this one. I think everyone underestimates him because of his UFC performances with the two losses to Hughes and one to GSP. Plus, his nickname is Twinkle Toes... it's hard to believe someone with that nickname is a serious fighter.

Trigg is going to look pretty funny after this fight trying to pick up his teeth off the ground with a broken arm.

Filho is so superior to Trigg on the ground in both the top and bottom positions that this fight is almost guarenteed to end with Trigg tapping his hand in submission.
