WECWorld Extreme Cagefighting is an American mixed martial arts promotion. It is the sister promotion to the UFC, both owned and produced by ZUFFA, with a focus on lighter weight classes and talent building for the UFC. As with its older and much larger sibling, the WEC uses the same rules as the UFC, but it holds its fights in a smaller octagonal cage.

Most likely, but it is five rounds, so that means it is two more than normal...usually someone tires out.

Yea but Kid was really pouring it on Curran and was smashing him into the ground and Curran wouldn't quit. Faber puts beating on people but not in the way that one was. That thing looked brutal and was just Kid in Curran's guard pounding on him as Curran threw subs that didn't even come close to catching Kid.

Yeah, but didn't they looked gassed at the end of the match? (I never saw it...but I assume that they must have.)

I can gurantee you that Curran will come in better shape this fight. No don't assume, he was not gassed. As for striking goes I favor Curran in this one, he was/is a professional boxer as well. Look for the superman punch that will KO FABER 2nd round
