WEC World Extreme Cagefighting is an American mixed martial arts promotion. It is the sister promotion to the UFC, both owned and produced by ZUFFA, with a focus on lighter weight classes and talent building for the UFC. As with its older and much larger sibling, the WEC uses the same rules as the UFC, but it holds its fights in a smaller octagonal cage.

I would like to have the Swanson -Pulver fight in the bets if possible. This is a great card.
Thanks

Doug Marshall will bring the unintentional hilarity once again.
Pulver may knock Cub's head off with a punch.
Miller vs Chance will be the swankness.
Filho will probably wear sleeveless flannel to the cage.
I see Faber getting the decision, actually.

Too bad swankness isn't a word. It should be.

Am I the only Jeff Curran fan on here? I don't see this fight going to decision (at least I don't hope so)
Don't underestimate Jeff he is a black belt under Pedro Sauer jj since 2003, so experience is definetly favoring Curran.
I do agree Pulver could and will likely catch Swanson especially if Cub comes out like he normally does with high intensity and lil evil side steps and catches him with that heavy hand of his.

No, I like Jeff Curran, and feel that he's an incredibly tough fight for Faber. However, Curran had some trouble in his last fight, and Ledbetter was just a one-dimensional wrestler/lay n prayer. Faber could avoid Curran's sub attempts and squeak out a decision. Curran is nearly impossible to finish, so I don't see Faber finishing him.
Curran does have the edge stand-up wise and jitz wise, but man, I can see Faber , who I don't really care for, pulling off the victory. I'm actually a bigger Curran fan than Faber fan.
This will be Urijah's toughest test at 145. Wagnney and Dent were really good wins for Curran, not to mention him putting up a nice fight against Kid.

I personally think that Jeff is going to try to finish him in lieu of it going to decision making his stamp/mark what have you on the WEC not only because this is a title fight but because Faber seems to be the WEC golden/token boy.
I will definetly be biting my nails watching this fight. As most are aware of I have seen Big Frog fight in local show a few years back (i know there is no comparison as competition goes) but his game/career is at the pinnacle right now and Jeff is keenly aware of this.
I don't know if most are aware of this but before Jeff took the Ledbetter fight, the WEC promoters contacted Jeff (team curran)to finda a 45'er and Jeff responded what about me so it kinda happened by fluke.
Not to mention his gym is state of the art, I trained/dabbled there one time. I eventually am going to sign up for classes most likely 1 on 1 class with Jeff, scheduling permitting of course.
