Ok maybe not HATE, but I never usually expect much in a Filho fight to be quite honest. Don't get me wrong, the guy is a GREAT fighter, but I'm rarely entertained by the guy. Does anybody else agree? And also, could he beat Silva in the UFC? (although unlikely to happen)

Hey man you can join Hollando and My club. I can't stand Filho the guy is a cocky prick Boarderx read some of his interview's translated or here other fighters talk about him he is hated.

Plus the guy is boring and he isn't just boring like early Tito boring were he was a wrestler and didn't really have anything else to offer. But boring as in he choose not to try and submit people and plays it safe and use dominate position to win fights.

Filho Sucks he is a great fighter but he sucks as a human and as a fighter I know a guy at my gym who trained with him and have terrible stories if you ever want to here them.

Haha actually, I would like to hear anything you have on him. I strongly dislike his style and his fights. But I've always had a weird feeling about his personality. So please do share these stories!

Some of them are around but there is a guy at the gym I go to who trained with Filho for a short time. He told me all sorts of things about how Filho would refuse to share mats with anyone he didn't think was on his level regardless of their belt.

One time he told me that when Filho tried to kick him off the mat and he refused Filho challenged him to a match which of course Filho won but he refused to let go of a Triangle Choke and put him to sleep on purpose.

I'll post some more when I got time but from everything I've ever heard he is a total dick and if you see some of his translated interviews or listen to what some other fighters say about him Filho might be one of the most hated men in MMA.

I dont care how he is as a person, because technically it shouldn't matter, its not a reality show, its MMA.

But in terms of his fighting, the dude has immense amounts of skill comin out the wazoo, but it's like he feels its "Pay-as-u-go", so he opts not to use it as much as possible. Thus becoming the most irratating, frustrating fighter out there.

The only fight I liked of his was against R.Sakurai, and thats only because it ended rather quick.

Paulão Filho :: TATAME

Most established fighters are cocky... you have to be confident in your abilities and it's easy to get carried away. I don't think he's that bad, but I haven't met him personally. You hear a lot of rumors like this about fighters, but they usually are exaggerated (but I'm not saying you aren't telling the truth bbjd). Anyway, his fight with Doerkson was unimpressive, and he doesn't really stand a chance against the top tier UFC champs in my opinion (his stand-up just can't hang).
