Here's the first thing I thought when I saw this article:
Why can't the UFC do something like that?
Honestly, I think this is a great event. I'd like see WEC really bring in someone awesome to fight Filho, like a Phil Baroni or Frank Shamrock, but I have a feeling that won't happen. Either way, it will be nice to see Paulo fight again.
I'm looking forward to seeing Jens fight again. I've bet some points on him, but Swanson could make the fight interesting.
I don't really think Faber is all that he's cracked up to be, given the level of competition, but I think he should tear through Jeff Curran, and it should be an exciting fight, even if it's not a competitive one.
As for Rhino, I don't know that much about the guy except that he hits like a ton of bricks. I really don't think his record is the kind a champion should have, but the paper isn't everything, and I'll be excited to see if he can live up to the hype and put together a fireworks display.
Should be a good event.
