WECWorld Extreme Cagefighting is an American mixed martial arts promotion. It is the sister promotion to the UFC, both owned and produced by ZUFFA, with a focus on lighter weight classes and talent building for the UFC. As with its older and much larger sibling, the WEC uses the same rules as the UFC, but it holds its fights in a smaller octagonal cage.
Who does the WEC have to fight him? I was looking at there MW's and the only two that they have on there that have are known are Riggs and Mayhem and both have left. So do you guys think they'll sign a free agent to take him on or try and to sign Frank Trigg again?
^ Thats what I said they still have Riggs and Mayhhem on there website but both aren't with the WEC anymore, Riggs went to Strikeforce and Mayhem is going to be fighting at HDnet fights against Sean Salmon in December.

Woah. Link to an article please?
And bbjd, Filho's last fight with Doerkson was pretty entertaining to me. He showed good striking, KO'ing the guy who's "only chance" was on the feet.

Yeah Mayhem is fighting Sean Salmon. Sean wrote about it in his article with MMAJunkie.com
And with Riggs fighting in Strikeforce, the WEC has no real challenge for Filho. They have to bring in Trigg, I think, cause he's the only logical free agent that is at the WEC's level. I can't think of any logical fights other than that.

I'll admit his last fight was pretty entertaining. and when he faces guys he is far better than he seems to dominate and once in a while chooses to finish. But then he'll fight Ninja who has a decent ground game and can reverse him if he makes a mistake and he just lies there. If he goes to the ground with Mayhem (which he obviously won't now) I don't think he would make any moves that could get reversed which would lead him to lay and praying just like usual.
