WEC World Extreme Cagefighting is an American mixed martial arts promotion. It is the sister promotion to the UFC, both owned and produced by ZUFFA, with a focus on lighter weight classes and talent building for the UFC. As with its older and much larger sibling, the WEC uses the same rules as the UFC, but it holds its fights in a smaller octagonal cage.

Eh, its an alright match up. Probably the best the WEC was gonna come up with. Filho by sub, probably 2nd Round.

The card looks prett damn good but honestly "I'm going to act big and call out Frank" Sonnnen is the best the WEC can come up with after having rumors of Mayhem, and Trigg you give us Sonnen. I mean really. Sonnen is solid but he doesn't stand a real shot. Filho sub round 1.

Chael Sonnen.
I don't know who I hate more. Should be an interesting fight, though; mainly due to Chael putting Filho on his back. I don't believe I've ever seen Paulo work off his back.

That's exactly how I feel about the aforementioned match-up. I was PRAYING for Mayhem...but what can you do.

Well Mayhem was already committed to the HDNet Fights Dec 15th, and his contract was bought up by UFC... but I would assume moving back and forth between different Zuffa organizations would be no problem. Still, Mayhem would have been fun to watch against Filho. Sonnen's a decent opponent, I think he's a little overrated as is. Just my opinion. Filho wins by sub.

Oh, I know. Mayhem always brings the fun. Chael? Not so much. Filho being on his back will be interesting, though. I see Sonnen putting him there.
