for tonights fights. I dont hear alot of talk about it at all. I think its a very solid card. Nice matchups with great talent all around. Ill be rooting for my boy Urijah, he is far too explosive for Curran. I dont see Faber getting caught in a submission. Curran is great off his back but Faber is to savvy and will be ready for all his sub attempts. A KO is possible in any MMA fight but do you really see Faber getting KO'd?? I dont. If it goes the distance Faber is a cardio machine, Id take a wrestler with great cardio everytime a fight goes to the judges. So I see Faber winning this. Im not sure how but if I had to guess Id say TKO in the 3rd.

Filho vs Sonnen is another nice fight. Filho is usually the better wrestler than the guy he is fighting. But in this fight that might not be the case. Sonnen is a douchebag but the guy has some skills. I expect both fighters to stand and bang for a few minutes. Both fighters think they are the better striker but I dont know if Sonnen will like Filho's power. Most likely he will try to take Filho down. I dont see it happening. Filho will eventually get a takedown of his own and finish Chael late in the first round.

Cub vs Jens is a tough one to call. Im not gonna get into detail because I really have no idea what is gonna happen.But Ill take Jens because he really needs this fight. Not to mention his last fight was agianst BJ Penn. Im sure being in there with Cub will seem like a picnic compared being in there with the Prodigy. Ill take Pulver by UD.

And in the LHW title fight Ill take the cuban dude that looks like Kongo lol

3 Title Fights in one night? Hell, you aren't the only one pumped. I'm hoping Sonnen puts Filho on his back. Paulo has great JJ, but he almost always has top position and I wanna see what he can do outside of his comfort zone.

No way any of the Title Fights go 5 Rounds, by the way. Its gonna be exciting.

I can actually see Faber getting KO'ed, since Curran has really good stand-up. Still, I see Faber earning a decision. However, I'm rooting for Curran, and would love to see him either KO or tap WEC's version of Gomi, except without the great wins.

We'll get to see how Filho reacts when he's put on his back by a dominant wrestler. If Filho loses, then I will laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh. Sonnen actually has a decent shot here. Also, no way is FIlho the better wrestler, have you seen Chael Sonnen fight?

Pulver should beat Cub, however, I honestly wouldn't be shocked to see Cub win. I don't really care who wins, personally, I just want to see a good scrap. Both guys can provide that.

Doug Marshall is unintentionally hilarious. He's just so, so awful, yet he thinks he's really good. I think Gandulla will win, just because he's much more talented.

Im pumped!

on the westcoast it starts at 6pm... so I can pvr it in HD and skip the lengthy intros!
(although the wife likes the intros)

should be an insane war for curran vs urijah!

But yes, I'm freakin' pumped. I love the WEC, because it provides the diehards with our dose of MMA swankness.
