WEC World Extreme Cagefighting is an American mixed martial arts promotion. It is the sister promotion to the UFC, both owned and produced by ZUFFA, with a focus on lighter weight classes and talent building for the UFC. As with its older and much larger sibling, the WEC uses the same rules as the UFC, but it holds its fights in a smaller octagonal cage.

Kid vs. Faber Please make this happen
I know there was a thread a while ago about Faber calling out Kid. I really want to see this fight.
Anybody else?

This isn't a fight it's beating. Kid is proven against legit fighters. Faber beats up on amateurs than goes around saying he's God's gift to man

Kid couldnt finish Curran and Faber finished him in the 2nd round. Alot of people count Faber out in this fight but I dont know how you can. This guy finishes dudes. Beats them up and finishes them quickly.

You do realize that was Kid's 6th pro fight, almost 5 years ago now.. Yet, Kid still dominated him more impressively than Faber, who was in a bad spot more than once tonight.

The way Curran took Faber down early makes me lean even more heavily towards Kid than I was already. I see Kid taking him down even more easily, and pretty much smashing Faber through the mat.
I agree that this fight needs to happen, it'll give a ton of exposure to Japanese fighters who are completely unknown in North America when Kid dominates the posterboy.

He didnt really take Faber down. Faber just kinda fell into a bad situation. That first round was kind of whacky. Once Faber got settled he bashed Curran. Bloodied him up and submitted the BJJ black belt. While Kid couldnt finish and took it to the judges.
