WECWorld Extreme Cagefighting is an American mixed martial arts promotion. It is the sister promotion to the UFC, both owned and produced by ZUFFA, with a focus on lighter weight classes and talent building for the UFC. As with its older and much larger sibling, the WEC uses the same rules as the UFC, but it holds its fights in a smaller octagonal cage.
Too skilled for TUF? Isn't TUF the show that is meant to produce UFC stars?
Not according to their most recent season. Richie Hightower, John Kolosci, Dorian Price, Paul Georgieff, Dan Barrera, Billy Miles, and Blake Bowman were all dropped after only the Ultimate Fight Night show.
Damn, they dropped Dorian? I enjoyed his promo's. He would be an awesome third-man in the booth.
Oserneck seems to be a talented fighter, who could be something, but Sonnen, I feel, will just overwhelm him with his wrestling. I'd give Chael the nod in the striking department, too, but there's always a chance of Oserneck catching him off his back, since Sonnen's sub defense isn't exactly the best.

I'm gonna go with Osterneck in the stand-up actually. He has some sick knees and definite KO power. He has real solid jiu-jitsu, and that's where he should look to finish the fight... as long as he keeps up the submission attempts, Chael won't have a chance to finish with his GnP.
