WEC World Extreme Cagefighting is an American mixed martial arts promotion. It is the sister promotion to the UFC, both owned and produced by ZUFFA, with a focus on lighter weight classes and talent building for the UFC. As with its older and much larger sibling, the WEC uses the same rules as the UFC, but it holds its fights in a smaller octagonal cage.

why are we complaining about the announcers at WEC so much

has anyone ever heard mike goldberg speak
the guy has no idea what the hell is going on

i do love when joe rogan says really stupid things though
i remember one time i think it was BJ against GSP when BJ had him in a triangle armbar combo at the end of the first round BJ came out a little sluggish at round 2 and Joe said "I guess BJ really blew his load on that submission attempt at the end of round 1"

I think that Lister vs. Almeida is one of the best matchups that the UFC middleweight division can give us right now, and it would be awesome to watch.
