WEC World Extreme Cagefighting is an American mixed martial arts promotion. It is the sister promotion to the UFC, both owned and produced by ZUFFA, with a focus on lighter weight classes and talent building for the UFC. As with its older and much larger sibling, the WEC uses the same rules as the UFC, but it holds its fights in a smaller octagonal cage.

I don't get it? Are people surprised when they see BJ completely destroy Faber?
I mean, BJ's never been beaten on the ground by someone his own size, especially when he's competing at 155 (as he's in shape.
As for the people that mention GSP beating BJ, GSP's jiu-jitsu is not that good. While he submitted Hughes, you have to remember that he did that by outwrestling Hughes (a huge feat in itself, but it doesn't speak much for GSP's BJJ, as he beat Hughes where Matt is by far the weakest).
That said, when GSP and BJ fought, BJ gained weight and lost alot of his cardio game so that he'd be big enough for that fight, while GSP cut 20 pounds. That's a pretty massive size difference. Not to mention, almost none of that fight was on the ground.
As for Faber being completely dominated. I'll just reiterate that I don't understand why people are shocked. BJ is one of the best grapplers in the world, and by far one of the most versatile, and Faber's a decent wrestler. BJ's going to win that fight 99 our of 100 times. Seems logical to me.

Yeah, and Frank Mir thinks he has the best BJJ in the heavyweight division. Clearly, Mike Goldberg is more reliable on the issue.

See, for me the highlight of this pick isn't the homosexual overtones (but that's because I'm a grappler, so I'm used to those). It's the fact that BJ has his foot on Faber's face and Faber is clearly taking in the smell. I really want to try that "foot on face" position now.

Wait I thought that was true.
So Faber isn't a grappling god
Mir doesn't have better BJJ than Nogueira
Filho's BJJ isn't the best in the MW divison of MMA
Carlos Condit isn't unbeatable
and Doug Marshall isn't good
are you sure Ironman?

Yeah, except about Nog. That guys BJJ is sooo weak. Brandon Vera is the BJJ monster.
Ummm...
As for Doug Marshall. Since you brought him up, I think that he's got all of the technical skills of Danny Abbadi, in the form of a giant meathead.

Honestly watching Doug Marshall fight hurts my soul. I mean I know he beat a horrible fighter with an armbar but Kongo has a win by armbar.
He basically is a brawler doesn't even have that much power.
Also That Brandon Vera guy is about to submit Werdum with his god like BJJ I mean Werdum's good but Brandon is at a whole different level.

This made me LOL. It's funny because it's true. I seriously hope Stann puts a hole in his face.
