WEC World Extreme Cagefighting is an American mixed martial arts promotion. It is the sister promotion to the UFC, both owned and produced by ZUFFA, with a focus on lighter weight classes and talent building for the UFC. As with its older and much larger sibling, the WEC uses the same rules as the UFC, but it holds its fights in a smaller octagonal cage.

Tracy Lee's blog on their training has a lot of good pictures. They're all here.

Notice BJ's foot over Faber's face, and what I assume locking Faber's arm too his body in the third pic.

You guys dont even know Faber or BJ personally. I dont know how you guys can make judgements on liking and not liking them.

I spent time with both Faber and BJ in Hilo and both are extemely cool dudes and extremely down to earth. Both of them are patient with fans and always give them their time.

These are the guys that will lead the lower weight divisions and be the champions for a long time. BJ will dominate and take the Welterweight, Joe will eventually get the lightweight, and Faber will remain the 145 champion.

The training and techniques these guys are doing in Hilo are beyond what everyone else is doing.

You cant make judgements on a fighter from watching them on TV... Get to know them in person first!

Furthur more, The the WEC and UFC are no different and actually the same owned by Zuffa.

No offense bro because but calm down.

A couple things

I'm sure that they train hard down in Hilo but I think you need to be honest with yourself BJ has had a ton of talented fighters who have trained with him in the past and none of them really became that great. In fact BJ hasn't even been the smae fighter since he stopped training with Frank Shamrock. So saying that Bj, Joe Lauzon, and Urijah Faber will dominant the 170, 155 and 145 division is a bit much especially since GSP has a gameplan that works perfectly for BJ, Joe Lazon isn't that good, and while you might have a point with Faber he hasn't faed Kid Yammamoto yet.

And yes there is a difference between WEC and UFC. I mean come on Doug Marshall is a champion in the WEC LHW divison.
