WEC World Extreme Cagefighting is an American mixed martial arts promotion. It is the sister promotion to the UFC, both owned and produced by ZUFFA, with a focus on lighter weight classes and talent building for the UFC. As with its older and much larger sibling, the WEC uses the same rules as the UFC, but it holds its fights in a smaller octagonal cage.

Cub Swanson WEC return Aug. 3rd; wants 2nd shot at Pulver

Cub Swanson returns to WEC Aug. 3rd; hoping for future rematch with Pulver

Cub Swanson talks about his desire to avenge his loss to Jen Pulver and what he's been up to since that loss as he talks about his win over Donnie Walker and the broken thumb he suffered in the fight as well as his August 3rd return to WEC.

http://www.fighthype.com/pages/content2602.html

On Pulver...

"I would love to fight Jens again. I really don't see it happening just for the fact that he really has no reason to fight me. I was an underdog and I lost so there's no reason for him to, but if he gave me an opportunity, I would take that fight in a second! I know I can beat him. I know it! I just know it!"

On his next fight...

"August 3rd, WEC. It looks like I will be fighting Takaya. It's in the works right now, but it's pretty much locked up. I think it's a good fight for me and to be honest, no one has really seen me fight since Micah Miller, like a year ago. The whole Jens thing, I didn't really get to show anything and my fight in Ohio, nobody really got to see..."

He talks more about his return, Jens Pulver, his fight in Ohio where he broke his thumb and a bunch of other stuff in the full interview:

Cub cannot beat Jens. He doesn't have the boxing skills that Jens has, and Jens subbed him pretty easily, so....Jens wins always

I agree with you on it. Cub has no power in his striking. And as we've seen, he may need some pointers on the ground when facing a vet.

kenaroo has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Funny... doesn't cub remember getting subbed in 20 seconds??

I guess he needed to get beat down to realize Jens is the better fighter.

I'll watch him get beat again..
