I have completely stopped running outside due to shin splints. I am considering running in double ankle braces b/c sometimes both arches hurt, since I'm sure my right ankle is compensating somewhat for the weakened left one.
I hate how much random crap is in my house. I have gotten rid of some of it but there's still a ton.

Yes Shin splints do suck ass...I can't run anymore because I still haven't figured out how not to get them.

Yes, but the way it relates to gay people is the part that puzzled me for the longest time. During the inquisition when they were burning "witches" they used to throw gay people on the fire to keep it going. Hence them being considered ***gots and why they used to be in "closets"

I didn't know that part. that is messed up.
Most shin splints result from your calves not being stretched enough. I have always had a problem with my calf muscles squinching back up and have to stop frequently in the first 2 miles or so to stretch them out again. This helps somewhat but it seems like every time I run on anything but a treadmill or a synthetic track I get shin splints, then I just ice them and they go away.

Yeah, I am the same. Except I can't even come close to 2 miles anymore. I have them and icing just doesn't work. It has to be my technique. Somewhere along the line I changed it and jacked it all up.

Stuff like jump rope and plyo or heavy bag work could increase your endurance. I have done a lot of that this past week when it was so freakin hot and humid I couldn't run more than 1-2 miles. Of course like most women there is an event coming up in September and I have my eye on an outfit for it that I want to look nice in, so my motivation is a bit different. I love jump rope tho. I'm going to get my timer out of the basement so I can go and do it back by the heavy bag where fewer ppl can see me look like an idiot.
I hate that I can't jump rope awesomely like a boxer.

I hate when people ask what kind of last name O'Meara is (my last name). If you can't figure it out, you should be stabbed in the neck. Oh, I also hate when I tell people my last name, and they can't comprehend it, so they're like "Ramirez?". No, not Ramirez, do I look Mexican?

I got the same deal here. My last name is a hyphenated combo of my father's and mother's. People always wonder if it is german for some dumbass reason. Tell me does Hanna-Chaffee sound f-in German?

I hate how Akon is in EVERY f*cking song playing today. Seriously, this guy is like the Samuel L. Jackson of music.
