I have to say this wasn't one of the best PPVs by far... but I had some thoughts I wanted to see if you guys agreed with.
Was anyone else impressed with Cheik (sp?) Kongo? I thought that guy looked pretty damn good.
Gouveia is looking a whole lot better.
I was glad to see Nick Diaz win a fight. A lot of people think Diaz is a prick, but I like him. I think he's a great fighter and it was good to see him be all over someone. Nasty kimura too.
Did anybody else think Babalu was going to go after Chuck like that? For a minute there I thought he had chuck going, but sure enough he sank the counterpunch he always finds. Juts when you think Chuck is finally going to lose because you have that feeling that somebody is going to get him on the ground and FINALLY take him apart, he manages to rip their head off. Great finish.
Bonnar vs. Griffin, I knew Bonnar didn't really have a chance. But did anyone else think Bonnar looked terrified the whole fight? He just had that look like, "I'm getting owned here." I thought after the route Forrest has taken since compared to Bonnar, that Forrest would at least finish him someway or another. But I guess styles make fights. Forrest looked much better striking.
Did anybody else want to slap Joe Rogan for repeating the same stuff over and over and over? It was really annoying this time. There must have been 5 times I wanted to yell JOE STFU!!!!
The multi-sponsorships are getting really old. I know they gotta make money someway but seriously, listening to Bruce Buffer rattle off 50 places before he annouces the fighters was really erking me.
