I wouldn't doubt that Dana saw dollar signs in Mir vs. Lesnar III, given how much of a story line it had been developing, but to think that there isn't potentially as much, if not more money in Lesnar vs. Carwin is completely underselling what could very well be the biggest HW fight in MMA history. People know what Brock is capable of. And if they didn't know before, they now certainly know what Carwin is capable of. We hear the adage 'unstoppable force vs. immovable object' tossed around all too often, but very rarely does it actually hold true. This is one of those instances where it's all too true, and people will pay to see it. As I said in another thread, if DW and Company were to throw in a couple of intriguing and enticing co-main events alongside Lesnar vs. Carwin (such as Wand vs. Akyama, Couture vs. Franklin, etc.), it could well outsell UFC 100. In fact, I think it very plausible.

Ha I dunno how happy Brock should be though, he knows he can smash Mir and I am thinking Carwin is going to straight up punch Brocks lights out. Guy just hits too hard.
Yeah, Carwin is definitely an interesting matchup for Brock. Much more intriguing than Mir III. Man, I can't wait for that one!
As for Brock smiling... I think it was because he liked seeing Mir get knocked out. How do I know? Because... Me: :D.

Maybe Dana feels he missed out on an easy payday, with Frank losing, but if so and he thinks he aint gonna get one for KING KONG vs GODZILLA,lol he is mistaken surely.
Brock and Carwin going at it is going to be amazing.
Any of the UFC heavyweights trading blows with the current group of fighters is unmissable, and we still have the likes of Cain, JDS,Yvel,Mir all lurking in the shadows for their opportunity down the line.
I mother f***ing love this division right now and can't wait for future fights.
P.s glad Mir got ko'd,lol and Brock next hopefully, to put a modest Champ to the top of the Heavyweight heap.

I agree. Lesnar would kill Mir. He killed Mir the 1st time, but got caught in that heel hook. I think Lesnar/Carwin is a much, much more interesting match than Lesnar/Mir III. And for that reason it should be a bigger draw. Nothing for Dana or the UFC to get upset about, IMO.

I don't think it was so much because of Mir/Lesnar III being put on hold, I think it was because Mirgliotta is a horrible ******* referee
Quoted for Truth. Dana is always happy about an exciting finish and is equally good to all of his fighters. You saw he was standing next to Brock going "hoooly shit" at the knockout. Mirgligoofa did a horrible job all night long.

I just got the impression that Brock was Dana's goon, and Dana turned to him and said "Brock, you are going to have to work harder to sell this fight. Understand? Now be a good boy and get me a Budlight and tell Carwin you are going to go climb on top of his wife."
