I've got Mousasi cause if he can take out Rory MacDonald and MacDonald is a weight class below Mousasi, I think Lima is going to similarly be beat down. Basically I think Mousasi is more skilled then Lima and then he is larger and stronger then Lima so this isn't going well for Lima. Shlemenko was a small middleweight and Lima would have a change there.

Scott Coker: "I want Mousasi to fight at 205 lbs next."

Everyone: "Wtf."

Now he has fought at that weight but what is the point of doing that? Is he really hyped on the concept of a champ champ that he wants to try and get as many as possible in Bellator? That would devalue the concept to a very low degree and Scott needs to back off.

The devil's advocate in me, thinks Scott Coker wants to feed Mousasi to Corey Anderson or Vadim Nemkov. To boost their credibility and bellator's 205 lb division. Because of course, nothing screams "credibility" and "legit" like matching 185'ers against 205'ers.

Or maybe Mousasi's cardio didn't look great @ 185. So Coker wants him to move up.

But who really knows what's going on there.

Mousasi just won the belt and already Coker wants to strip him of it. Which could mean the only reason that fight got made was Coker hoped Douglas Lima would win and become 2 division champ. Which is kind of cold, bruh.

Mousasi has been fighting forever and Sage Northcutt still has around 2 times more followers on social media than he does. That could be what's holding Mousasi back from being promoted more is he doesn't have much of a following aside from hardcore fans.

Yeah, Sage Northcutt's following is partially why ONE Championship signed him which has of course backfired considering he lost straight out of the gate. As for Mousasi remember that at times he's been a solid light heavyweight considering what time in his career it was. He's one of those fighters that's bounced up and down.
