Wand will win. He is far superior. The only way chuck wins is if wand knocks him down and stomps him. Then he would be DQ. I know this is a bad way of comparing fighter's but after watching what wand did to rampage and what rampage did to chuck i can't see him winning. And you can't say that chuck has gotten better cause so has wand.

Damn good fight

This will be a damn good fight, but it will be far from " The best fight in UFC history." I think the 3 Cotoure vs Lidell's will be as exciting as it gets with Chuck. He's one of my favorite fighters and I believe he's one of the best ever, but his " one punch KO " approach doesn't make for very exciting MMA. I think every one will be very surprised when this match goes down, Chuck will win, but it won't even be "the" fight of UFC 62. Chuck will either cut Sobrol badly, or Ko him with 2 punches. The match will not live up to its hype!

When i speak on fights i try and not look at it from a stand point of my favorite fighter, in all honesty I dont even use Rampage as a way of measuring Wands skill level, I like to think of wand when he battled against Mirko Cro Cop. In all realism you cant call Chuck an "Elite Kickboxer" when he hasnt competed against strickers in a purely stricking venue such as K-1 only those men have earned the right to be called elite in regards to stricking, now is Chuck better than alot of guys in UFC on the feet? let me be the first to say hell yeah. Now Mirko has competed and done well in pure top notch K-1 and remember wand took it to him on the feet in pride and dominated. lets not also forget mark Hunt. these men would W/O a doubt knock Chuck out and Silva showed he is truly world class by giving them both hell. so if you look at it from that stand point its hard to make a judgement against Silva. Not to mention betting odds in vegas onn fight night will for certain be in the favor of Chuck I mean its vegas and thats his home town. Im not a gambling man but Silva will bring it home, I also agree Im worried silva will stomp and get DQed

Im tired of hearing about Chuck losing to Rampage no one likes hearing about how Wand lost to Vitor and Tito.Enough they have both improved alot.I mean Chuck lost to randy then came back and knocked him out twice in a row.

This fight is hard to match up Wand is better in Ju jitsu but i dont think he can work any of that,UNless he drops Lidell at some point in the fight.He has better leg kicks and a faster puncher but i think Chuck hits a little harder and has good pase.It could be Chuck waiting him out and then hitting him with that punch of his or Silva Machine Gun him.

I wouldn't bet on this fight but if i had to i think id say Silva.

i say chuck because ur right it is his yard and rules ... i think chuck could hang with the best he is a freat striker he just is look how many of his fights come from ko alllot if he catches wand with one foot to the head he will start wailin on him booom tko.....i am not tryin to undermine wanderlei's skill by ne means ..... chuck is just soo well rounded tho

Vanderlei's two fights with Rampage Jackson were horrific and brutal victories that left no doubt that Rampage could not hang with Wandy. And, to be fair, Chuck lost to Rampage a few years back.

So this could turn out to be a very tough situation for Chuck. He hasn't been tested against the same caliber of strikers as Vanderlei has.

chuck doesnt lose to strikers tho..all his losses were to guys with good ground skills..if wandy stands there and strikes with chuck and doesnt knock chuck out, hes in trouble because if u give chuck five rounds to catch you with something eventually he will..but i highly doubt this fight is going 5 rounds..someone will get caught

It will either go like this chuck will catch wanderli with a punch in the 1st or 2nd round or wanderli will push the pace and when in the 3rd or 4th round. But I still think chuck has the fuel to go 5 full rounds. You people out there who are doubting chuck are making a huge mistake.

Chuck vs Wanderlei

This is a hard one to call...chuck fought in Pride a while back against Overeem. While Chuck did defeat Overeem he got rocked several times with knees (that would have KOd anyone else). Wanderlei definitely has a more varied arsenal...if he can close, use the clinch and knees Chuck is going to have a bad night. If Chuck can stand off and fire those heavy hands...combined with the advantage of using UFC rules...he can win.
