Hi everyone,
I've been training for about 6 months and have an upcoming 'practice' fight (to get over nerves etc) before leading up to my first 'real' fight in about March. I've always been very sceptical about supplements that bulk you up and don't care about what I look like or being big. However, I started taking creatine to help with energy levels as I have a big stamina problem no matter how hard I train. Before I started taking it, I'd already put on 7 kilos from all the training and I'm starting to think it might be a bad idea as I'll lose my low weight/big height advantage. Does anyone have any advice about creatine and Muay Thai? Is it a bad idea? Can I drop it a few weeks before the fight, losing weight but keeping energy level benefits? Any comments will be much appreciated.
