ok,i must correct myself he was not running,he was standing all fight, and doing nothing...it was booring fight, anderson at least put a show, and make me laugh, but BJ was dead man walking...please tell me where you saw bj run around, please.
Well sir I disagree with you on this because it sounds like you believe those in Abu Dhabi are unfamiliar with the UFC? I don't think it has much to do with the venue, regardless of where it was - people would be pissed.if this happened in america, it wouldnt be so bad..because americans already know the ufc...but they have spend all this money, and partnered with abu dhabi to branch out and go to other countries..and then have people booying at your main event and chanting GSP GSP! thats just bad for business.period.
Would be awesome if Dana fed him to Cain.Dana White just went up in my book. I like that he actually told the truth a lot of presidents of companies wouldn't have said anything like that.
I think Dana is going to throw Anderson in with someone serious now, not a middle level guy at 205. Maybe Rampage, Shogun possible a serious HW. Anderson has gotten to arrogant for his own good. I never thought he was very humble, I don't know why people ever thought he was, but he is clearly showing that he doesn't have a lot of respect for some fighters.
Would be nice, I was thinking Cain or JDS. Possible even Mir. Frank has said he wanted to fight Anderson Silva. I don't really care who it is, as long as they aren't afraid of Anderson, everyone he's gotten in with has been beaten before they ever got in the cage. It's getting old and fast, I mean the last guy he got in with that didn't looked scared to death was Henderson and he fought him two years ago.Would be awesome if Dana fed him to Cain.
Here. He isn't and wasn't. He engaged a lot more than Leites did and a lot more than Silva did. Rewatch the Leites fight and rewatch this fight then post. Silva just dodged his punches and side stepped him. I don't know what you expected, though. Maia wasn't going to try to get in a kickboxing match with Silva, he went for a few shots, stalked Silva who was circling around him for 3.5 rounds.**** Dana, give Andy challengers who aren't scared to death of him. Maia went for the win for about 15 seconds in the fifth round and didn't fight for the other 24:45. Andy beat the **** out of him in the first 3 rounds and then stopped caring because Maia didn't belong in the cage and was refusing to engage outside of diving at his legs from 6 feet out. Where are all the Maia fans who said he isn't Leites by the way?
JDS won't fight him, and I think Anderson would beat Mir to be honest...Would be nice, I was thinking Cain or JDS. Possible even Mir. Frank has said he wanted to fight Anderson Silva. I don't really care who it is, as long as they aren't afraid of Anderson, everyone he's gotten in with has been beaten before they ever got in the cage. The taunting was really unprofessional by Silva. As was needlessly carrying Maia.i can see why Dana is disappointed, but i think he taking it a little too far saying that Silva should apologize to the fans etc.(which he did anyway). Its like he expects him to do some fantastic KO every time he fights which is just ridiculous, its not Dana's place to tell fighters how to fight and occasionally the best fighters do put on bad fights. I think Dana is way out of line with the way he is acting and refusing to put the belt on him was just really unprofessional by him.
