Are there any fighters that yall feel should drop a weight class or go up a weight class to win more fights? I think Forrest Griffin would do better if he worked on his take down attempts and made his punches more precise and dropped down. He could be a Chuck Liddell of the Middleweights.

BJ Penn should go back to being a lightweight! Also, this will probably sound stupid but I'll say it anyways! I think Matt Hughes should consider becoming a middleweight! He practically did everything in the welterweight division so maybe he should try taking on some middleweights! Just a thought!

Thats a good idea, but I think Hughes would come into a problem with the reach if he were to go up because most everyone would have a reach advantage over him I think. But once it went to the ground, I dont think Rich Franklin could take him.

I agree Penn should go back down. I don't think it would be hard for him to do:dunno: Wouldn't he pretty much kill the lightweight division. If he does what he does as WW why not own the Lightweights:dunno:

Franklin would own Hughes, no question in my mind..and Forrest has to cut like 15-20 pound to make LHW, he could never make middleweight hes 6'3 and has zero fat

I bet Arlovski could make LHW, and I think he could compete there too.

Brandon Vera has been fighting as a heavy and wants to drop to LHW, he's already called out Liddell.

Penn could obviously make and dominate at lightweight.

Josh Haynes (the fat kid... with blue hair) fights at 185, and needs to be at 155. I don't ever see him wearing the belt, but i see him giving us some crazy fights.

No way Matt Hughes would fight Franklin though (they're boys). I disagree with your take ob BJ simply b/c I dont think there would be any competition for him in that weight class.

Franklin and Hughes are to good of friends.

Thats why they didn't fight each other after the season of TUF was over.

Evan Tanner would have became a TUF coach if he beat Franklin, and then Dana also said if he was a coach him and hughes had both agreed on fighting each other.

Hughes Vs Tanner would be a good fight, i think tanner might win, tanners just as strong physically as hughes and imo his stand up is MUCH MUCH better. Plus he has a very good ground game and is good at submission escape.

I agree with you about Forest. In fact I sometimes wonder if he should move up in weight. I could see him at about 220lbs. simply because he is, like you mentioned like 6'3 or 6'4. I also think Brandon Vera should move down to LHW. He looks kind of soft around the mid section at HW, plus I think he's good enough to give Chuck problems.

Arvloski at Lightheavy would be sweet. Who knows if he could cut weight he is 6'4" 240, but if he did i definetely watch.

Brandon Vera at Lightheavy would be good too.

Gabriel Gonzaga would be interesting at LH also. He's only 6'1".

Everyone is gonna hate on this but Frank Trigg at 155 would be nice.

If BJ drops down it would certainly help hi scardio. i can't remember many of his fights at 155 but the one that i can think of is against Lil Evil and it went the distance and he didn't gas (to my recollection).

Forrest could not possibly drop down to 185 unless he cuts muscle. He could also never be as good of a striker as Liddell. That was just comical. He is aggresive and his angles are average. Liddell is a counter puncher and has flawless angles.

Franklin should move up 205 again because I liked him at that weight. Obviously that should happen if he beats Silva and TUF 4 guy. It would be hard on him to keep switching weight classes to prepare for fights. If anyone has a chance to hold 2 belts in 2 diferent weightclasses it would be Ace, though.

Hughes would get KO'd as a MW. He would look like a midget from the WCW in there or something.

I think Lister moving down to MW was a good move for him and after he gets used to fighting at that weight could be a contender.

AA is a breast and there is no way he could drop down to 205. He is like 6'4" and 240. That is a lot of weight to get rid of. If he could be effective losing that much weight though, that would give us some good action.

Vera could certainly drop weight classes. I think the only reason he is fighting in the HW class is because he knows it is a weak division. He would be a contender at 205. I like what I have seen from him. he still has a ways to go though.

BJ Penn could drop down as a lightweight since he is dominant as a welterweight and more better nowadays I think he would do excellent as a lightweight nowadays since that loss to Jens Pulver and draw to Caol Uno.

Also Rich Franklin could move up to the light heavyweight division once again to maybe challenge Chuck Liddell for the title once Liddell runs out of opponents. Franklin is good as a light heavyweight as he beat Ken Shamrock and some others but his one loss has come in the hands of a light heavyweight/heavyweight so I don't know about this.

Ya He lost to Machida who is one of my favorite fighters. I think Franklin should challenge him to a rematch seeing that Machida is finally fighting in the states. It would be a damn good match, probably better that the first where franklin got spanked.

Forrest Griffin a "Chuck Lidell" type haha...

ZZTiger said some intellegent things. The Big one I agree with is, and a lot of people are saying, is Rich Franklin moving up to LHW. That guy is huge compared to whoever he fights. I've always wanted him to move up, I hope he does.

If Rich wins his next 1 or 2 fights id move up to 205 and have a crack there at Chuck, whats he got to loose...

BJ at 155 would be awesome, im not sure he wants to just now, but this might happen. He never gassed at 155 ever.

Arlovski could not make LHW - too much weight to cut and muscle to loose.

Forrest could go up and do ok since he'd have to cut of an arm to make 185.

Vera could drop to 205 - no doubt he could loose 15 pounds.

Jeff Monson at 205 would be a beast.

That would be awsome man, i'm sure tanner was winner of that fight...
