well I agree that he did not look as impressive as he said he was, he talked a lot bigger game than he actually has, but I don't think he is that bad. I think in MMA you need to have an attitude like that and confidence, he just needs to improve his skills, but that is just my opinion :D

Ed has the personality of Tito Ortiz, classic bad boy image, trash talking, and doesnt give a care attitude. In the octagon, however, from what youve seen on television he doesnt live up to the hype. This guy has a 10-4-0 MMA record, thats not too shabby, prob should be a little better since he trains with Randy and all, he just needs some time to grow

My point being all the people my age, his age all over the country that are 185 (not his weight:mad: ) could whip his ass drunk, pukin all over themselves. Now him being able to get to fight in the octagon and pursue his dream of beating someones ass and growing tons of hatred for a complete stranger cause you are gonna be in the ring with him AWESOME!!! but how can he be bad enough to get to do that???
Now as far as Ortiz' attitude being like his NO! Tito carries his more calm and cool but he still has the tude! Love the guy!! Ed's attitude doesnt match anything about him. Ortiz knows he's been on that long road to where he is today and has earned the right to have his attitude! Herman NO again!

Ed tapped out Kendall, but McCarthy didn't stop the fight. Ed should have won that fight and even Kendall knows it. As far as I'm concerned, Ed won TUF 3 in the middleweight division.

I hate Ed Herman too! I hate arrogance,so that is mainly why I hate him! I don't mind confidence, but Herman and Leben are way too cocky and they aren't good enough to back it up! Leben got a reality check against Silva and the same will happen to Herman! I never saw Kendall tap out! If Kendall locked the choke on early in the fight,I think Ed would have tapped out,but they were both so tired he probably didn't have much strength to really squeeze!

are you kidding me??? Ed did a great job in the final.

IMO, Ed lacked on the TV show but totally stepped up his game in the final. he did tap out Kendall, and he should have won! im glad he got a contract cuz that means we will see a lot more of him and then shut up those who think hes a joke!

Kendall wasnt that tough either!! Ed and Kendall wouldnt last seconds in the ring with my friends that weigh 185 and they have no professional fights!!

I hate people who are so sure they have the toughest friends, tell them to enter some MMA tournaments so you can watch them get torn apart.

Thank you, I have MMA experience at the 155 pound weight class, but I don't go around talking about how I could kick Sam Stout's face in. The guys that are on that level ar there for a reason and if you think that you're friends could take a guy that trains with Couture then you have no idea what real MMA is.

Yes, Ed talks alot of game, but he trained with team Shamrock for the whole show, I expected him to underperform. When he trained with Randy again he came and kicked a** in the finals.

Don't count him out

Ed is mouthy, yes, but he's got heart! He's young and has a long way to go. With a lot more training and experience, I think he could go a long way.;)

I dont think Ed Herman is much better than Chris Leben,But they are both young and trained alot with each other. He has Coture as a coach so you know he's going to be good.

I am a huge fan of Ed herman, I think he is a great fighter! So what if he is cocky and confident? I think he has every reason to be....he backed up what he said and I believe he was the real winner from TUF. I am very excited to see alot more of Ed herman, I think he will do awesome in the UFC!

I love you MMA people who think you know things because you watch TV. lol

I've wrestled with Ed and he's an AMAZING fighter and his ground game is amazing as well. And btw ed should have won, and think if Ed actually had someone coaching him like Tito not someone who made him watch DVD's every day, he'd probably have won the fight. I'd like to see you go 3 rounds with ed, i know i've been doing mma since i was 17 (20 now) and i know i'd get taken down in 2 rounds. Lets see you get put in a rear nakid choke and a triangle lock and not tap. As far as im concerned your just a sissy who watches TUF3 and think's he knows what he's talking about.
