I can see this fight being really close, and in a 3 round match it would most likely go to a decision. I can also see it going either way in the judges eyes, and most likely a saying like this would come after the fight, "Never leave it in the judges hands" by Dana.

Very close fight, i couldnt really pick, i would maybe pick Edgar just for being the smarter fighter of the two though. But would be a awesome fight none the less.
Pretty much this. Its a tough question. Its one of those threshold things, where if Sanchez can take Frankie down he would win the fight I think. Otherwise Edgar's standup could outpoint Diego. We'll learn alot more about Frankie is in upcoming fight.

My immediate thought was that Diego would handle Edger.
We all saw how Maynard, the bigger stronger wrestler, handled Edger. I'd say Diego would do the same.

Frankie's tough, but it doesn't look good at all for Edger against Penn.

This fight would go all 3 rounds. Sanchez would rush in like a dumbass, like he did when BJ dropped him in the first 10 seconds of their fight, but Edgar's boxing is light years behind BJ's of course. But it is still very good. While Sanchez has weak boxing because he is an idiot and rushes in wildly. Exciting, sure. Smart, not even close. Edgar wins this fight. Because he would dominate the stand up because he is a good boxer and Sanchez is a dumbass. Diego would probably take him down, but Edgar is good on the ground and Sanchez wouldn't do any damage at all. Sanchez loses to any GOOD, well-rounded lightweight by unanimous decision. Or, if he is lucky and his opponent is drunk or sick, he loses by split decision.

Frankie via decision. I never got the Diego hype. Sanchez is a sloppy boxer, with decent wrestling and a decent ground game who just so happens to very dedicated.
