Kimbo isnt anything special. And the UFC knows this so he will never fight anybody that will expose how weak of a MMArtist he is.
He will never fight any of the big names you listed unless they want to fight Kimbo and the UFC thinks they can make a boat load of money on the fight.

If he keeps improving his game, and keeps winning sure.
But he was gifted a hand picked opponent, Huston has no ground game, and this was set up to be a slug fest. Hell they brought Huston back into the UFC just to fight Kimbo.
Lets see them toss a real well rounded fighter at him and see how much he has improved his TDD and his ground game then talk about him fighting the top tier fighters, until then he is a big name for money, but not a top fighter yet.
Oh and btw Kimbo doesn't fight at light heavyweight, yet.

na i saw how houston beat the $hit out of kieth jardine and jardine beat liddell.. Houston aint No pushover... true kimbo is No world champion material but hes a strong puncher and hes a contender for sure. I think Kimbo Is underrated seriously. In a stand Up game I think He can Knock Out alot of UFC fighters
i dont know but I wanna see Kimbo Fight rampage. I think Rampage would F*CK him Up... But i would pray for kimbo to Pull an upset and KO that cocky son of a B*itch rampage out. well hes not ready for quinton yet but give him 2-3 more wins maybe a Jackson-Slice fight would generate some good attention

I think he is overrated. He hasnt shown any of that KO power he had when he was fighting at peoples BBQ's, he is slow footed with slow punches. Looks very stiff at times, not fluid at all. I will admit he has improved a bit but at 37 years old his window is shutting fast.
I dont think a fighter of his caliber belongs in the UFC. He is only there because of his notoriety.

I think if he went into the sport 15 years earlier before he lifted too much weight (and his frame expanded drastically) before he got arthritis he'd have a decent shot at lhw with his heavy hands, basically a rampage clone, but he didn't. He's too old and has a crippled knee and is too light for HW and too heavy for LHW, he's screwed and will never get anywhere in the UFC, he will fight the rest of his contract then move to a smaller organization and retire after a few fights there, there's no other way for it to happen, his body will never let him crack the top 5 in any weight division.
The only way Kimbo will ever be in the cage with any of the big names is if he is the guy that holds the ice on their thighs. Kimbo is tough thug, but he's not a good Mixed Martial Artist and he never will be. Did you even see the Alexander fight? You are assuming he's good from that fight? I guess he did beat a flash in the pan nobody that did beat Keith Jardine! BRING ON THE CHAMP!!! If you actually saw that fight, you saw that it was one of the most terrible fights ever. And it proved that he still has no ground game. He couldn't hold down a panzy that everyone knows has no ground game. Kimbo is not and never will be a top class fighter. He's a big name, that's it.

If you ever wanna be taken seriously as a poster around here your going to have to start making posts that arnt absolutely stupid. Your going to have to research your MMA better. He beat houston, cuz houston was afraid of the power in kimbos hands the whole fight and circled away from him the whole time. Houston got dominated in the second and thats the round that was undisputedly for kimbo. kimbo fighting rampage could happen if page loses to rashad, kimbo beats meat head convincingly and shows improvement in a sort of student v teacher thing but i doubt it will happen.

I think this is a really good assessment of Kimbo's chances, or lack thereof. He does have a punchers chance against anyone. It looked like to me in his fight against big country, that as soon as Roy took a big shot from Kimbo Roy decided that was a distinct possibility as well, and immediately took the safe route and put Kimbo on his back.

Houston was a complete idiot is how he lost. Kimbo is nothing, he started as nothing and will end as nothing. Lucky guy who caught a good paycheck by pulling some bullshit street mystique and was exposed when a low grade lhw KO'd his HW ass with a jab.
