I just signed for a Matt Hughes seminar in a local mma school. its october 20th and its only 5o bucks. the number is 407-677-5269. its in orlando fl....i cant freakin wait.....dont be jealous

That is awesome! I bet the guys on here that talk about how bad he sucks wouldn't have the nuts to go to it and tell him that face to face:laugh: Or even tell him they think he is too cocky

Just because I don't like Matt Hughes doesn't mean that I think he sucks.
I have to admit that I am not a Hughes fan and I was hoping for BJ to beat him last fight. I have also stated that I wasn't that impressed with his win over BJ since I believe BJ handled him for the first two rounds.... But and it's a big but, Hughes beat him fair and square and is still the champ. So I respect him for that and given his longevity, I would vote him into the hall of fame on the first ballot. In addition, if I lived in Orlando, I would be the first in line to get into his seminar because he is still one of the best welterweights ever.
So I am not dissing Hughes because I think he is cocky or if I don't idolize his fights - he is still a great champ. He keeps proving all of us who have been doubting his ability that we are wrong. It's just my opinion - I would just like to see someone else like GSP take his belt. I think Hughes has been around long enough and a change would invigorate the welterweight division.
Regardless, I hope you have a great time at the seminar and make sure you let everyone here know about your experience and what you learned.
