I can't wait to see him murder Tim Sylvia and win that title. 15 straight victories. He'll just take Sylvia down and punch him and submit him like he did to Hinkle, Perosh, all those punks that got in the ring with Monson.

I don;t see alot of notable names on Monsons win list. I hope he beats Sylvia but getting him to the mat will not be easy even for someone as strong as Monson.

The real problem is, fighting Tim Sylvia is the same as fighting Gan McGee. It's not necessarily that the other guys is a better fighter, it's that he's so damn huge.

Monson has so much power on his frame that it's scary. I think I've said this before, but if Sean Sherk was a heavyweight, he would be Jeff Monson. They're both short for their weight class and they're both awesome fighters.

16 in a row and Sylvia's next.

Mario Cruz is a fairly well known fighter, and is really good. Perosh is his biggest win so far, and the way that Monson crushed him is just proof of how incredibly strong the snowman is.

Maybe I'm not giving Sylvia enough credit, but I don't think that he'll be that hard to take down once Monson gets around his arms. With those long arms he is at a huge disadvantage when someone is clinching with him.

Keyword: Punks. Monson is awesome, he's an amazing wrestler/grappler, but he has really beat anyone impressive. Both good fighter's he fought he lost to, Forrest and Chuck. But I agree, he probably will murder Sylvia. Sylvia will get dominated on the ground by Monson, 2nd round submission.

I ran into Monson on the street during the RNC in St. Paul. I stood about a foot away from him and just stared for awhile, reading all of his tattoos. They guy is massive, and even more intimidating up close in person than in photos or videos.

Anyone heard anymore about the Snowman possibly returning to the UFC? There was talk about a month back but nothing since.
