If Florian beats Gomi tonight is it safe to say he is the #2 lightweight in the ufc, and what do you think he has to do to get another shot at the title?

I'd like to see him fight grey maynard/tyson griffin/frankie edgar before he gets another title shot.

Beating gomi doesnt largely affect his standing in my eyes. Which me and 800,000credits think he'll do tonight.

It's already safe to say that he's the #2 LW right now. If he wins I'd like to see him fight Diego before he gets a shot at the title. It's obvious they're both #2/3 in the division right now.

Florian doesn't deserve another shot at the title until BJ is at WW. Florian has shown absolutely nothing that would lead anyone to believe that he'll do any different against BJ. Hes exactly like Nate Marquardt. He got destroyed by Silva and then wins a few fights and everyone thinks he deserves another shot, yet he would just get murdered again.

Then what would Kenny do? He would just have to be the gatekeeper for #2 contendership? I mean it could work if B.J. wanted to move up to WW. But as soon as Kenny got beat he would have to defend his belt. And it is pretty unfair to Kenny to say the least.
