When the first fight was suppose to happen i thought great we get to see Lesnar fight someone whos of a similar size to himself however by looking at the above pic i think theres still a big difference bwteen these two. I personally cant wait for this fight as i dont think Carwin will be able tp push Lesnar up against the fence like her did Mir. I also doubt Carwin will be able to stop the take downs which is why i think this will be such a great match. Im personally taking Lesnar on this one and cannot wait for the winner of this fight to face Cain.

I think for the first time the h/w division is the division to watch, you just dont know whos going to win what.

This picture is very deceiving. It's like the time Randy got in the octagon with gonzaga in a suit and nice shoes and looked just as big as him. Brock is already bigger than Shane, then to give him a jacket and shoes makes him look bigger.

Here is an idea of how deceiving this is...

Deceiving picture, but in the thread about measuring height at weigh-ins and Carwin being labeled 6'5 when he isn't, someone mentioned they wouldn't be surprised if Dana/UFC started being secretly flexible on weight too... sometimes Brock looks so much bigger than the other 265lb guys.

In that picture Brock is wearing shoes and hasn't cut to fight weight, but Carwin is 6'2 265lbs with a hat on and he looks much smaller. I think Brock is 6'3 not sure.

Anyone actually think they'd still have Brock fight if they knew he couldn't cut weight consistently? I'm undecided, it's a bad thing to accuse them of.

Carwin himself states he was 6'2, he has never claimed to be 6'5, that was the UFC website.
Brock is definitely an inch taller and a couple inches on reach over Shane(83 inch for Shaen and 85 for Brock). Shane cut 10 pounds for weighsins this last fight (most he ever cut was 20) and brock consistently cuts 20 pounds for weighins.

Yeah the picture is confusing. I never trust the UFC's measurments. The weight is do but they are so bad at even hiding it. A while ago they had a picture up here that said Chris Leben and Anderson Silva were the same height. You look at the fight and Leben is like a foot shorter. Brock will still be bigger but not as nuch as this picture "shows". Should be interesting to see the difference come fight night.

Brock is 6'3" with an 81" reach.
Shane is 6'2" with an 80" reach.
Both wear the same size glove 4xl.
Both have to weigh 265 at weigh in. So at fight time they'll be in the same relative weight range. One might outweigh the other by a few pounds at the fight. That's not going to determine the winner.

I've just realised how huge Lesnar is, or how small Carwin is.

I dunno
I think this pic would be a better comparison if Brock had the same clothes on as Shane. According to what Rogan said awhile back Brock supposedly walks around at 280-290. You have to realize he isn't in fight condition and didn't just go 5 rounds with Mir. The thing I find interesting is look at Brock's lower body, his legs look pretty small compared to Carwin's, also Brock doesn't have his GH belly, you know the one where he still has a six pack (sort of) but his stomach is distended. Regardless of anything, this should be a great fight.
