Mark Hunt is awesome. I thought he would win the PRIDE 2006 Grand Prix but then he sadly lost to Josh Barnett and I'm pissed . He's my second favourite fighter from PRIDE next to Crocop. He beat Crocop and no one could beat Filipovic besides Nogueira and Emelianenko.

It doesn't mean he's a bad fighter, but it does mean that he's a bad mixed martial artist. He's a one sport fighter, which is why he lost to Barnett and why he'd be crushed by Nog and Fedor.

Mark Hunt is fun to watch as long as he's fighting another standup fighter, but once he's on his back he looks like an idiot.

Personally, I'd love to see Hunt come to the UFC and fight Jeff Monson, but Jeff would probably crush him. Either way, it'd be the battle of the short heavyweights.

Mark Hunt does have terrible ground game but one of the best chins and stand up of MMA. He is also a 2001 K-1 World GP champion. I like Mark Hunt I actually thought he would win the PRIDE grand prix but I guess Barnett knew how to take him out.

that fight hunt had with t.k. was outstanding. they went toe-to-toe in one hell of a war. i give t.k. all the respect in the world, he took a lot of heavy bombs from hunt and never backed down and he never quit. awesome!!!!

I don't see him being the Chuck Liddell of the heavyweight division anytime soon. He would have to loose a lot of weight to get that sprawl speed up to anywhere near Chuck's level, but his ground defense is improving.

He's definitely going to be a force as he improves.
