I love St Pierre, he is my second favorite Welterweight (next to sean sherk) because he's so fundamentally sound, but I think that Matt Hughes has showed the world that he can beat anyone... in the welterweight division.

I think that Hughes will groundnpound the living hell out of St Pierre, the man is just too damn strong for anyone to take. I think if we want to see matt hughes in a fair fight we'd need to send him up and take on an upperclass middleweight.

Best of luck to St Pierre, I hope he gets the title, but if I'm betting than the money's on Hughes.

St. Pierre will knock Hughes out. Or at least tap him.

St. Pierres improved so much. Even since his last fight with Hughes. I don't see Hughes winning this at all. Hughes may be a little stronger. But St. Pierre is quicker. Not to mention freakishly strong aswell.

I believe Matt Hughes will take this fight at the moment St Pierre is an excellant fighter but Matt Hughes is almost invincible although i do believe St Pierre will eventually take the title, afterall nobody stays at the top forever

I want GSP to win, but there is only one fighter in the entire UFC who really has the ability to destroy Matt Hughes, and his name is BJ, and he is a beast.

Call it grappler's instinct, but after watching Hughes pound the hell out of Royce, I think it's going to take a much better submission fighter than GSP to tap him out. I really think that BJ is the only fighter who can do it.

Best of luck to GSP, he deserves the title if he can pull out the win.

In order for GSP to win this one, he's going to have to take it and take it convincingly. I don't see a decision going his way unless he's working non-stop dominating Hughes 15 of the 25 minutes they'll be fighting each other. Admittedly he had a lot of butterflies going into their first match, and that kept his normally frantic pace reserved. Ever since then he's been on a non-stop tear through the ranks, and a confident fighter (no matter what the level) is a dangerous one.

Hughes is also running high going into this fight after his phenomenal performance against Royce. Again, it's not a fact that he had proven that the Sport of MMA has evolved much farther than the established legends of the sport, but his confidence level has got to be at an all-time high. Unlike the fight with BJ Penn he knows first hand what he is up against, and he knows all too well that he can lose this fight. He's going to have to bring his A-Game into this match, because this is bar-none the biggest threat to his championship reign.

This is a toss-up, and should be one of the greatest matches this year. If GSP wins, it will most likely be by Ref Stoppage/GnP probably in the 2nd or 3rd round. If Hughes wins, it will probably be by decision or Ref Stoppage/GnP in the 3rd or 4th round.

I will pay to see this one.

Gsp

This will be his best chance to stop Hughes. I think he will do it. Hughes is getting too overconfident at this point. GSP is a machine and he is going to come in wanting the win after losing the first time. It will be cool to see someone take out Hughes. Even though his match with BJ was a little shakey at best. Those two are the one who pose the most threat. Anyone know what is happening with BJ? Is he going to fight in the UFC again?:dunno:

St Pierre (notice the correct spelling) will probably win the fight. I would expect him to win by decision. He's a crazy French Montrealer who just doesn't know the word "quit". But more than that, he's exceptionally talented.
