Hey I'm 16 years old looking to get into MMA to be in shape, but eventually maybe get serious as in making a career out of it. I know theres a MMA gym close by and they have a great MMA training program, however not sure if I should just go straight into the program or spend a while learning fighting styles essential to being a good MMA fighter. I am thinking about training individually in boxing, then Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, then freestyle wrestling, and then kick up MMA training. I understand learning those fight styles may take time but thats all I have is time. So I'm wondering if I should go straight into MMA with the small knowledge I have now or take time in learning important fighting styles. Can anyone who has been in MMA training for a long time, or who trains, or is in MMA fighting seriously can point me in the right direction. Thanks
