The MMA Freak rankings are voted on by members of the Freak staff. Note that fighters who are serving drug related suspensions, have been inactive for over twelve months or have recently retired are currently ineligible. Also note that fighters are only eligible for one weight class unless they are champions in multiple divisions in which case exceptions are made:

I think Francis Ngannou could be claiming a spot on the P4P list whenever he fights Stipe.

We can see.

Yeah it'll be interesting if we can see what all he does this second time around. Is there any word that he'll be getting another title shot? He's done a good amount which can maybe justify a rematch against Stipe but there are other contenders that a case can be made for who should get a title shot.

Yeah we'll just have to see how Ngannou does this second time around. After all, the first time around both guys admit that they had secondary issues going on which is why it wasn't the best match it could've been. Then right afterwards was the snooze fest that was his match against Derrick Lewis but since then he's gone on a tear.

AFAIK Ngannou was so confident and convinced he would beat Stipe. He didn't bother training for that fight.

Probably the reason Ngannou is a big betting favorite over Stipe for the rematch.
