Nate Quarry is believed not deserving of that title shot against Rich Franklin at UFC 56. It is believed he became number one contender by defeating Shaonie Carter at UFC 53, who was drunk during the fight, swinging randomly and Quarry punched Carter once and the fight was stopped by the ref.
"I was so high during that fight" claims Carter who is now with King of the Cage.
Nate Quarry loves his job and thats the bottom line. He is signed to a 6-year contract as a UFC janitor before his contract expires.
"Do you ever wish to return to the octagon?" said Joe Rogan.
"Yeah. I want a rematch against Franklin because I know I will win this time" replied Nate Quarry. Joe Rogan ran away and left Quarry in his janitor's office to take some more crack and masturbate.

I know. And I hate how he thinks he is so smart and tries to act like it. At the beginning of the fight he is like "I'm gonna win by doctor stoppage" then he got destroyed and is like "Oh, I knew I was gonna lose. That post is Bullshit... Probably a prime example of why I don't post at Sherdog. Quarry's injured and set to go in for spinal surgery. That post is just a sad attempt at fan fiction.

What is up with all of this hate for Quarry? How often do you see someone say "Oh, I'm going to get my ass kicked but I'm going to fight him anyways." What else are you supposed to say? If everyone hates Quarry for taking the championship fight offered to him then they need to get some sense, and so does everyone else who hates him just because it's the "cool" thing to do.

he is a good fighter and all but no, I don't believe he deserved that title fight but I hope he does come back, he had a lot of potential and I would watch him fight again.
Joking around about someone being on booze and crack is not very funny, nor is kicking the guy when he is down with a serious injury. I believe there were more worthy opponents in the UFC when Quarry got his title shot but he would have been crazy not to go for it.
I love the fake interview, but I think that Quarry would probably just kick Rogan's ass.
