It was the only nose break of the night, but when Dana started commenting on how bad it was, I realized it wasn't just me.

I couldn't tell right away that Lynch's nose was broken because of all the blood, and once I saw it better, I couldn't look at it again.

Does a break that bad require surgery?

I have no idea, but it was as bad or worse than Franklin's nose after the Silva fight.

Possibly, especially if it causes him breathing problems etc.

I've had my nose broken and because of that I have a deviated septum. Basically that piece of cartilage inbetween my nostrils go broken and now has grown back clearly more into the right nostril than the left. But I can still breathe fine out of my nose (although more from my left side) so I've never required surgery.

edit: and you have to be looking up at me to really notice... so being 5'9" only my wife and previous gfs know about it

I think we will see him in the future...not on TUF of coarse because how long does it take to recover from a broken nose?....and 2 how much longer will it take from a break that severe? I can honestly say that was brutal...his boy even commented on it before he knocked hime out..."Yo man your nose is busted up" "Oh shit man that shit is slashed"
