Very quickly,

my name is steve, i love MMA, i love UFC, pride, king of the cage but i also study MMA myself.

When i was a youngster and didint know any better i studied karate for many years, now that im older and have a brain in this head i tak BJJ and mauy thai. I plan on doing as many JJ compititions as i can because i love the sport its just so fun. i might expand into FULL MMA but we will see how that goes.

what is wrong with Karate, (depending on the school and teacher sometehing might be ) there is nothing wrong with Karate in general.. most MMA artists today had thier first glimpse of MMA by starting off in a more tradational school before tehy ever knew what MMA was..

karate is great for many things, i just dont think its great for my MMA career,

Karate is not the best style for MMA. A wrestler could beat a karate guy in an MMA enviroment. IMO.

agree, karate is great for dicipkline and all that, but thats where it ends and the octagon begins
