It seems there is 1 current UFC fighter and 1 current coach who trains fighters in the UFC who may be running non profit / charity scams.

Their charity/nonprofit accepts donations for them to give free lessons. And the free lessons never happen.

Not naming names. But don't be surprised if this comes up in the future.

Remember back when this internet model with her "silence of the lambs" elbow tattoo (?) gave her nudes to anyone donating to australian brush fire charities. She raised almost a million dollars.

Encouraged by the success, she later started her own "non profit". So she could secretly funnel a large percentage of the cash donations she received to herself. Some charities give 5% or less of the donations they receive to charitable causes. The rest goes in their back pocket.

It seems 1 fighter and coach in the UFC saw this happen.

They founded their own non profits / charities to follow the example.

Its not illegal. But I do wonder if it will become public knowledge later and there could be a negative backlash.

Be careful of modern day non profits and charities. Today those terms are often merely other words for fraud.
