I don't know if that's the correct spelling, but you know what I mean.

Anyway, I've seen these submissions attempted many different times, yet I've personally never seen anyone finish a fight with either move in the UFC. Could anyone tell me if they've seen it?

It hasnt happened in the UFC, Lots of attempts though. Very hard submission to finish against a decent grappler

Yeah, it seems like it's too easy to get out of, even if you're excellent at submissions. This was a question I've been wondering for a while so thanks for answering.

If you are on the bottom and wanna be on top an omplata is a great escape, you go for it, the guy feals it and rolls then you are on top

I learned how to do it during one of my training sessions, and it is prob the hardest move to learn and sink in. Ive gotten it on a few guys before, and its VERY effective, but again, extremely hard to do

You get it it scrambels thats about it. when you shift from triangle to armbar and boom you swap to omoplata like lightning, then maybe..
