Tito will NEVER back down. I bet he'd go into a match with a cast on his leg if he had to. Ultimate Fighter 3 is the best thing he could have done. It's showing his talents, and he's going to be one of the favorite fighters in the UFC when it's done. Sure he's got an ego, but everyone in the UFC has an ego problem, or they wouldn't be there.

As a bit of an update on the Ken Shamrock-Tito Ortiz situation, Ortiz did agree to Dana White to take the fight he originally pulled out of after UFC 59, and as of this morning, Dana White was said to still be working on the deal.

Being that all signs pointed to Shamrock-Ortiz anyway, and the fact that the only press the Shamrock-Forrest Griffin bout got in the short time it's been known as a working plan was a short amount of internet coverage, it's very likely White will get the Shamrock and Ortiz match official on paper, and announce it in the near future.

ortiz vs shamrock

after age 35, professional athletes of any sport lose the physical ability to compete at the very highest levels. KShamrock is over 40. He got his ass busted by tito during the last match and only has a punchers chance in this one. I'm not saying I can beat the guy, but tito can.

BTW, we now know the reason why the Lion's Den hasn't had the success of the earliest UFCs. KShamrock "doesn't do BJJ, he's a leg lock man?" WHAT!

Tito did lay an whooping on ken the last time. But if tito had balls he'd fight at ken's weight. Everyone knows droping that much weight leaves you tired and slow. Not only that but ken was injured when they fought he had a torn acl. Tito fights ken at his current weight and it might be a diffrent story.

As a coach, Tito Ortiz has a little bit of a better track record. Not to mention that he's alot better with the mind games than Ken. Ken either gets to soft with his fighters or he gets them hurt, Tito's found the middle ground.
As for who's going to win Tito v Ken. I think Tito is definitely the favorite, but Ken will be faster coming into this fight and he'll definitely have a lot more power.

How do you think will win? Im a big Shamrock fan and he will destroy Tito after this season of the Ultimate Fighter. All the little thing Tito says during the season will add fuel to the flames in the advantage of Shamrock. I think before the season is over we might see a litlle brawl betwee these to.

So who do you think will win??
 are you kidding me? Ortiz will overtake Shamrock. Tito is a tough fighter and you all know that Shamrock will lose!!!!!!!! lol :cheeky4:
Ha well seriously Ken lets his anger get in the way so Tito will win!

Mmm.

I think both their times have come and gone, if you ask me. Haha. I think I want Ken to win though. I'll make a prediction of who will win later, but I WANT Ken to win.

I dont like ken personally and he got thrashed in that fight with ortiz but he did show heart plus the fact that he fought with a torn acl is amazing to me. I wouldnt want to walk to my mailbox with a torn acl much less fight. I believe its past time for him to leave though. I assume ortiz will thrash him again. bring the salt ken youre gonna be tasting elbows again.

btw did anyone notice in round two when ortiz had the side pin two different times that his knee was right by kens head with clear shots available but he never took them?

shamrock VS ortiz

I think Shamrock is off his friggin rocker. I wouldnt be suprised if he gets in the octagon and starts hittin HIMSELF! Also, I followed "The Ultimate Fighter" for a little while, and it looked to me like Shamrock was the one who was intimidated, with the way he blew up all the time. Ortiz mostly kept his cool. I hope Ortiz knocks his block off.:dunno:
