Some of the names of this computer equipment is cracking me up. Sabertooth, really?

My nerdy buddy is planning a build for my next one and I'll have him post up the stats when he gets it figured out. The few things I can remember him saying is an SSD, 64 bit, 8 core, and some other jargon. The case he picked out has a bunch of blue lights and looks nothing like a computer.

All to play WoW and Diablo at the same house:dunno:

Who would have thought...we're all nerds who can scrap and love MMA! :thumb02:

Anyways my comp looks slick, but is terrible when it comes to functionality. Bought it several years ago when it was considered "state of the art."

Sony VAIO all in one computer with no tower. Flat panel widescreen LCD TV, DVR capabilities, remote control and illuminescent background.

Screen: 22" LCD with Xbrite-Hi Color Technology

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo (2.10Ghz)
Ram: 3gb (667 Mhz)
HDD: 500gb
Optical Drive: Blu-ray Disc (Fawking driver doesn't play all blu rays. It's ridiculous!!!)

Connectivity: Wired and wireless ethernet

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT GPU

Wireless keyboard.

Hated the wireless mouse so I got a Logitech Gamer mouse back when I was a wasting my social life on Star Craft...lolz!

Anyways I've wanted to throw my comp out many times cuz it stalls...had to upgrade my hard drive recently. Even though I love/hate my desktop thinking about getting a Sony VAIO laptop cuz it has biometrics thumbprint scanner. What can I say I'm a sucker for James Bond gadgets.

Probably going to upgrade to a new computer within a year and use this as a TV in the kitchen or in the bathroom for porn. Any recommendations as to what I should upgrade to. Most of you look like you're building different components from scratch.

I used to have a wireless mouse as well but it was kind of a pain so I switched to a wired one as well.

Yah so many times I'm getting attacked or attacking a base (Starcraft) and the battery runs out on the fricken mouse. You know how important that is in the world of gaming. Even worse I'm in a poker hand online and then I'm stuck so yah the wireless had to go. The Logitech is the best mouse I've ever had. Super responsive, great contour and feel. There's probably crazier mouses out there, but this one does the job.

My second case fan should be in today. Thinking if I should up the wattage on my power supply when I buy a modular one. I have a 650 watt right now but I will be running 3 fans as of this evening. Would like to get 1 more to suck air out of the top of the case, then I plan on getting an SSD and another optical drive. Not sure if my 650 watt will be up for the challenge.

Oh yeah,I know how it goes. Mine went out during raid boss encounters in WoW more than once. Always left me dead well before I got any batteries... I have a wired one now and it does alright although I would really like to get a better one soon.

If I were to upgrade I would go for it. The 690 is just amazing but the price tag on it is huge. I would have went with the 670 as well.

My 570 is perfect though so I highly doubt I will be replacing it. Do you have a steam account?

I added him as well, we should all do something together, something we can all enjoy and take part in, makes us feel great.

Then, we should try to find a game on steam we can co-op.
