Like Ivan Salaverry, cartwheeling and blowing kisses to the crowd after he wins? I personally think it gives them a bit more character, I dont mind it too much. Unless its done against one of my favorite fighters....or in the most recent case, players, Joey Porter, doing the Daunte Culpepper hand roll after housing an interception

Showboating is okay, so long as it's not disrespectful. The way Tito run's his mouth I hate. But like the way Terrell Owens and Deion Sanders used to, I loved it. It creates personality in some people, but makes assholes out of others lmao.

I hated that Muhamed Ali crap Rashad Evens was doing during his fights on TUF, I was glad Hughes called him out on it.

I hate it during a fight but before or after i dont mind. Before and after a fight it is just entertainment but during the fight is disrespectful in my opinion.
I agree, it's disrespectful, but it's nice when the one showboating gets caught with a good shot while doing it.

Ivan just actually is opening a Gym in downtown seattle to train strictly MMA and it revolves PERFECTLY around my fighting style (alot of seattle fight clubs do) which is kickboxing, Submission wrestling and jiu jitsu. I wanted to start training with him this year, but i moved 2 hours away to go to college so hopefully i can get in his gym next year, btw you know anywhere online that has his fights on video? All i can find his the Gono fight which he lost :(

Salaverry is an awsome fighter!

I personally hate hominich, the fight he put up against Gorgul was stupid, i hate people who run around and don't fight.

Diaz is a great showboater. He calls the guys on, lifts his arms up high in the air, and of course talks trash. I found it hilarious when he was fighting Diego and he's like "You like that *****?". Joe Rogan also pointed it out.

If I remember correctly Diaz was fighting Robbie Lawler taunting him and talking trash and the ref (can't remember who the ref was) told him no talking. I remember Joe Rogan laughing about it.

Showboating is alright as long as it's in good fun. If you're being a prick when you showboat, like Tito does, it's funny but it's also pretty f**ked up. I don't like Rashad at all but I think he was doing those Muhammed Ali moves in his first fight out of nervousness. I don't think he was trying to do it to showboat cuz it was always after he got hit really hard so my guess is it was just like a Forrest Griffin twitch except instead of hitting himself in the forehead 1000 times he does the Ali thing. I didn't see it as showboating, I just saw it as a way he deals with pain and getting himself pumped up. If he was doing it to showboat, then he woulda done it after HE hit his opponent, not after he GOT hit by his opponent.

Terrel Owens type showboating

Chad Johnson type showboating
