 The O'Rielly Factor and shows like it are nothing but crap. People like O'Rielly question guest who has an opposing opinion and then interept them when they are really getting to the foundation of thier argument. How many times has O'Rielly interepted Rich Franklin when he was telling him why he became a fighter? How many times has he interepted Rich when he was trying to talk about the altletism of the UFC? How many times has he interepted Dana when he was making a case for the UFC being safer then boxing? It was either Rich Franklin and Dana White agree with Bill O'Rielly or they don't get to talk at all. Also, O'Reilly had only one source that said the UFC was more dangerous then boxing. I don't know what you guys think but citing one source is pretty lame. It just shows you don't have much of an arguement. Shows like this should be cancelled because they are nothing but biased crap.

Yeah, I watch that show about a month ago. It really hit a nerve with me too. Bill O'Reilly has no clue what he is talking about most of the time. He doesn't bit*h about boxing and they have had numerous deaths and fatal injuries. It's funny people think that just because they are using big 16 ounce gloves, that it doesn't effect you and that sense they're big and have "cushion" it doesn't do much damage . But, it does 16 ounce gloves do way more damage than the 4 ounce gloves that MMA uses. I fight with both gloves and the 16 ounce jar my head way more the 4 ounce. Besides, boxing is mostly head shots and constant head shots at that. You don't have a ref in boxing that will stop the fight if a fighter isn't intelligently defending himself. So, O'Reilly can stick it in his a$$ and rotate because, MMA is alot safer than boxing.

HE's a moron. It's like when he went after Ludacris for having a pepsi sponsorship and his music is horrible towards women and blah blah blah (while ironically not naming other artists i.e. busta rhymes (mountain dew)) and what happened? A few months later O'Reilly got hit with that sexual harrassment thing. HE's just a pansy and I can't believe he's on TV.

Ali got parkinson's from boxing? Michael J. Fox must have been a boxer too, along with anyone else having that disease.

Boxing, 12 rounds, several hundred punches to the head. MMA - at tops the Arlovski Silva fight all punching, maybe 1/8th of a professional fight? I wish we had a stat for how many fights end as knockout vs. submission, it's not like EVERY fight you get cut with an elbow. There's ring doctors, referees to stop the fight, and it's sanctioned... just like boxing. So why ban something with the same infrastructure as boxing?

I mean seriously, you can punch and kick but shit how many kicking knockouts have you seen? I can think of two. Compare that to how many times somebody got knocked dead by Mike Tyson or Jeff Lacy, even that Roy Jones fight where that dude damn near had a seizure getting up. O'Reilly is a moron, he didn't let anybody talk, never does. There's a clip of him talking on the show where someone emailed him to mess around and called themselves Jack Mehoffer and O'Reilly's dumbass addressed him like a regular viewer "Well Mister Meyhawfer!......"

It's stupid. Let the states athletic commissions decide, that's what they do. They know sports, athletes, and risks, not your dumb ass. They aren't telling you what stories to put on your show, so don't tell them what sports are ok. How often do you see boxers hug after a fight or shake hands or anything vs. probably 98% of MMA fights I've seen, even ones with the baddest of blood (minus Ortiz - Shamrock.)

now sadly I am a fan of O'Reilly, Does that mean I agree with everything he says.. no.. though many of his political views I agree with... when he steps outside the political areana onto other topics.. he is usually under educated on the topic.. he needs to stick to what he knows.
