Just read on another site that Duffee has a black belt under the McCormack brothers at Monasterevin Top Team.

Would this be considered a 'mcblackbelt' or is it legit enough to give Russow trouble if he got top control on him?

Did a bit of research and Daniel Mccormick is a black belt in Judo who participated in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, at the ABU DHABI PRO JIU-JITSU North American (Canada)Trials he placed 2nd in the 216lbs+ and 1st in Heavyweight Absolute.

All I could really find.

If anyone knows anything I haven't been able to find, feel free to speak up! :D

Hope this helped and is one of the guys you're referring to.

Nice. Now we can expect flying arm-bars from Duffe. Or a flying scissor heel hook :D
Annyway, good for him.
!!! i love seeing those, I try them all the time but never land the right way to get the heel hook. The one Toby Imada did in his last fight for Bellator was awesome even though he didn't get the Heel Hook, you never really see those in MMA that much.

I'm not sure... but that would be awesome if he was.

However, it takes a goddamn good bjj artist to be overtly threatening from the bottom against even an average mma fighter. So either way I doubt it makes him much more dangerous from the bottom.

I think his strength is on his feet, and he'll lose the fight if he stays on his back.
