went in and tried to do her best in this fight but came up short and was dominated all five rounds of the fight by Amanda Nunes.

9) Jim Miller defeats Roosevelt Roberts via submission – UFC on ESPN 11


Despite his long career in the fight game, this bout proved that Jim Miller is still very much dangerous as he submitted Roosevelt Roberts for a bonus.

8) Gillian Robertson defeats Cortney Casey via sub – UFC on ESPN 11

Gillian Robertson
and Cortney Casey are both up and comers but Gillian Robertson got the better of this round with a submission win.

7) Sean O’Malley defeats Eddie Wineland via knockout – UFC 250

The charismatic “Sugar” Sean O’Malley got his second fight after over a year layoff, this time against Eddie Wineland where he knocked him out.

6) Alex Perez technically knocks out Jussier Formiga – UFC 250

Alex Perez
took advantage of being on the undercard and knocked out veteran Jussier Formiga to earn a Performance of the Night bonus.

5) Tyson Nam knocks out Zarruckh Adashev – UFC on ESPN 10

Even though Zarruckh Adashev came in overweight, Tyson Nam still stepped up to the occasion and got the knockout win and a bonus.

4) Cynthia Cavillo defeats Jessica Eye via unanimous decision victory method – UFC on ESPN: Eye vs. Cavillo – Upset of the Month

Cynthia Cavillo
stepped up in weight and was able to make a name for herself in the flyweight division against former challenger Jessica Eye.

3) Aljamin Sterling defeats Corey Sandhagen via choke submission victory method – UFC 250: Nunes vs. Spencer – Submission of the Month


It’s surprising that Aljamin Sterling still hasn’t gotten a title shot considering fights like this against the up and coming Corey Sandhagen.

2) Cody Garbrandt defeats Raphael Assuncao via punch knockout victory method – UFC 250: Nunes vs. Spencer – Knockout of the Month

Cody Garbrandt
very much needed a win after a three fight losing skid and he got that against fellow bantamweight veteran Raphael Assuncao. Had he not gotten injured this would’ve gotten him a title shot at flyweight.

1) Dustin Poirier defeats Dan Hooker via unanimous decision victory method – UFC on ESPN: Poirier vs. Hooker – Fight of the Month

Both of these men bring it every single time that they fight and this was Dan Hooker’s highest ranked opponent to date. However, former Interim Champion Dustin Poirier once again pulled off another great win.
